Where to Eat, Stay, & Play in Hersey, PA

Shopping

Tanger Outlets

46 Outlet Square, Hershey, PA 17033

Tanger Outlets was a place I hit up more than once. There are a lot of options for every kind of shopper. Some stores include: Express Factory Outlet, Calvin Klein, American Eagle, Aerie, Kate Spade New York, and, my personal favorite, Vera Bradley. This Vera Bradley store always has great sales and encourages shoppers to buy a lot of items.

Dining

Arooga's

637 E Main St, Hummelstown, PA 17036

The sports bar atmosphere is idea for a date night or dinner with the whole family. The food is fantastic and not to mention, the huge variety of beers on tap. When I visited, I stated out with their buffalo chicken dip and topped it off with the BBQ Chicken Salad. I strongly recommend both. Also, their wings are a must. The buffalo ranch is my favorite. Check out their menu here: http://aroogas.com/food/Hershey

Cocoa Diner

590 E Main St Hummelstown, PA 17036, US

This cute, little diner is a great place to start your morning with some eggs and bacon. I would stop at this restaurant before going to Hershey Park because the prices are great, food is delicious, and it will save you a pretty penny compared to prices inside of the park.

Entertainment

Hersey Park

100 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, PA 17033

Visiting Hershey Park is a no brainer when it comes to entertainment in Hershey, PA. There are rides for all ages and they have fantastic shows throughout the day. My mom and I caught two sets of the Soda Pops show. The whole band is very talented and seem so nice!

Zoo America is Hersey’s very own zoo with lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Admission is included with the purchase of a Hershey Park ticket and the zoo is accessible through the park. If you are not planning to visit Hersey Park but still want to see the animals, zoo tickets can be purchased, separately. https://www.zooamerica.com/

This large arena is home to the Hershey Bears hockey team and hosts a ton of events. There are a bunch of popular groups stopping here on their tours. Hershey Garden

170 Hotel Road Hershey, PA 17033

Visiting this place is truly a breathtaking experience. There are so many beautiful flowers that were envisioned by Milton Hershey in 1937. There are acres of roses and even a butterfly atrium!

Hotels

The Hotel Hershey

100 Hotel Rd, Hershey, PA 17033

I have never stayed at the Hotel Hershey, but if you are looking for a luxurious resort, this hotel is ideal for you! For around $400 per night, guests have access to their indoor and outdoor pools, shuttle services, and many other services.

Super 8

210 Hockersville Rd, Hershey, PA 17033

I have visited Hershey a number of times, but stayed in a different hotel every time. For my most recent trip, I stayed at the Super 8. Overall, I give this hotel a 4 out of 5 stars. The location is about a 7-minute drive to Hershey Park and other popular locations. The staff is friendly and there is a continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and updated, as well.
